Limerick hurling legend Ollie Moran will be looking to retain the ‘The Shannon Airport Cup’ as 3 new counties enter the fray.
Following the success of last years inaugural event between Clare & Limerick and due to several requests from neighbouring counties, event organisers Golf Voyager are pleased to announce that participants from Tipperary, Galway & Offaly will join Clare & Limerick for the 2nd Annual Shannon Airport Cup Invitational.

The Loughrea custodian who played with Galway from 1982 to 1990 and enjoyed All-Ireland success in 1987 & 1988, now enjoys his golf at the fantastic Galway Bay Golf Resort in Oranmore will be looking to follow on from last years Liam McCarthy success with victory in Costa del Sol for the Galway men.

This will be our 4th event of this type having twice hosted a similar Munster Vs Leinster rugby themed golf outing in Vilamoura back in both January 2017 & January 2018 which was a huge success. We are also delighted that both Shannon Airport & Padraig McGrath from P&M Golf have decided to continue their sponsorship of the event”.
